Question(s)?
I just placed an order. When will you ship it?
If you have ordered only one book, the production time is approximately 3 weeks. For multiple books and book set, the production time can be up to 4 to 5 weeks.
Once your order has been shipped, you should get an email along with tracking info.
Keep in mind that some periods are busier than others and that these production times may be extended. If you need your order by a specific date, please let me know by message and I will do my best!
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes! I ship everywhere in the world. If you do not see your country available in the shipping options, please send me a message via the 'Contact' page and I will get back to you.
Shipping is free on orders within the European Union. Outside of the EU, shipping is free on orders over 250€.
What courier do you use?
Domestic orders are sent via Colissimo (French post) or Mondial Relay.
European and international orders are sent via Colissimo/French post (and then your own national postal service once it gets to your country) or UPS.
I live in the US, will I have to pay tariffs?
At the moment, printed books remain exempt from the new tariff laws. I always make sure to indicate the HTSUS code for 'hardbound books' when filling out the customs declaration with UPS. So far, none of my US customers have had to pay tariffs or customs duties.
How long does shipping take?
Delivery times vary depending on your location. Domestic orders typically arrive within 3–4 business days, while international orders may take up to 6–10 days.
What happens if my package gets lost during shipping?
If your package is lost during transportation, I will contact the courier as soon as possible to try to locate it. However, if it cannot be found, I will replace the book(s) you ordered and send you new one(s).
What is your return policy?
Unfortunately, I do not accept returns unless the item was damaged upon arrival.
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact me within 5 days at mrsyoflam@gmail.com with all the details and pictures.

What is the difference between 'recased' and 'rebound' books?
Recasing does not involve modifying the text block. When the original books are perfect bound books (i.e individual sheets of paper glued together), creating a new hardcover is called 'recasing'.
When recasing a book, I remove the text block from its original cover or case. The spine is reinforced and a new hardcover is created, with durable materials (archival-quality and acid-free).
But when the original books are bound into sections/signatures (which sadly is less and less common in the publishing world), I can completely resew the text block, round and back the spine, hand-sew endbands etc. This is rebinding, because it implies modifying the text block, giving it a new binding as well as a new durable hardcover.
